Sepia Quarterly seeks fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art that somehow deals with the theme of "bittersweet." You may interpret this however you wish, but here is a definition to inspire you: arousing pleasure tinged with sadness or pain; especially: pleasure accompanied by longing or regret.

Selected pieces will be published in our themed print issue and will receive a contributor copy. 

Please send us one piece of prose up to 5,000 words OR up to four poems in a single document. You may submit to both categories if you like, but please fill out a separate form for each submission.
